You have the option to register your child on a database with www.missingkids.co.za Is ii Africa involved in the search and counselling of missing persons?No, there are well established search and support groups in place e.g: SAPS Bureau for missing persons, SACMEC, Missing Children SA, The Pink Ladies etc. In the event that my family member goes missing, what do I do?You immediately report the person as missing at your local Police Station to a Senior Officer, taking along the completed ID-kit that will assist the police with the crucial information. Enclosed in the kit are also guidelines. Is there a waiting period before I can report someone as missing?There is NO WAITING PERIOD. The faster you act the greater the chance in finding the person. Do I need to go to the police station for the finger printing in the ID-kit?No, our ID-Kits include an easy to use, high quality non toxic finger print ink strip. Why is a set of fingerprints necessary?It is one of the most important investigative tools to assist the police. Each person’s finger prints are unique.
